Small bedroom dresser – An old wooden dresser can be a monstrosity, move away from an otherwise beautiful room. If the dresser is still structurally sound, there is no reason to throw it away. Instead, you can paint it to match the decoration of the room. Painting a sideboard with latex paint is not complicated but it will take some time due to the drying times involved. Set aside a weekend for this project where you can go back to it, as needed.

Remove all drawers from the dresser. Use a screwdriver to remove all buttons and hardware from the small bedroom dresser and drawer. Set all these elements and screws in a safe place. Use a strong directional light as to detect any dents and scratches. Fill imperfections with wood putty. Sand the dresser and drawer fronts with 120-grit sandpaper, either by hand or with an electric sander. Sand again with 200 grit sandpaper.

Clean all sanded surfaces small bedroom dresser with an antistatic cloth to remove sanding dust. Set the cabinet and drawers on a plastic tarp located in a garage or outside. If working in a garage, open the door for maximum ventilation. Fill the reservoir with a latex-based paint sprayer. Set the spray pressure to the configuration recommended in the latex paint instructions.
